Hello, friends. Sorry for the interruption, but we've got an interesting opportunity brewing that we wanted to share. Please forward this email to anyone you think might be interested.
As the folks behind SiteSherpa (www.sitesherpa.com), we're looking for people to be involved in a reality-based event we're contemplating staging in NYC in November and December. The event is a game in which participants are set loose in New York to live as fugitives for 21 days. If a fugitive survives without being captured for that time, they have a chance to win $10,000. If a member of the public catches the final fugitive instead, they take home the ten grand. Think of the game as The Running Man meets Survivor meets Escape from New York meets Reality Run meets Rain Man. Should be loads of fun. Could be loads of money.
The event is scheduled to coincide with the gala release of our SiteSherpa web navigation software. Coverage of the game will be exclusively on the web, with interactive content, audio, video and whatever else our team dreams up.
So where do you fit in to this? We're looking for folks interested in getting involved. If you'd like to learn more about being one of the participants, drop a line to Mike Basta at mike@sitesherpa.com.
We're also looking for neighborhood volunteers in New York City to help us spread the word, and web and video production folks who'd like to contribute some of their talents to this crazy endeavor. We can't promise much in the way of money, but fame and fun are definitely there for the taking. Again, email mike@sitesherpa.com if you're intrigued.
If you'd like to stay posted on developments, visit our site at www.sitesherpa.com and join the Mailing List (signup box is near the top of the left column). Meanwhile, help us by spreading the word to folks in NYC and beyond that might be interested.
Thanks!
The SiteSherpa Team
